Denis Seek

Denis Seek

Head of Technology Development

His team is responsible for developing roadmaps for Maxis' radio, core and transport technologies, driving trials and, through business case analysis, recommends new technologies into Maxis' network. His team is currently involved in the study of HSPA evolution, LTE/EPC, Femtocell WiMax Wave 2, UMA, Mobile TV technologies (DVB-H and MediaFLO), 3G@900MHz, GPON, IPTV, ROADM, IMS, Carrier Grade Ethernet and NGN.

Denis started his career with SingTel (Singapore) where he led the implementation of Globe Telecom's GSM network in Manila and Cebu. Thereafter, he was with MobileOne Ltd (Singapore) as the Head of Radio Planning and Technology Development for more than 10 years before joining Maxis.

Denis holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class Honours from the National University of Singapore, a "Diplome d'Ingenieur" (equivalent to a Master's degree in Telecommunications) from the "Institut National des Telecommunications", France and an MBA with distinction from the Warwick University, UK.
